- According to John Stamos there will be more than one season.
- D.J. complication with her feelings for two guys that like her and ultimately choosing herself in the end is reminiscent of the Full House episode "D.J.'s Choice", where Viper and Nelson competed for her affection but both were rejected in the end.
- When calling Michelle, D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy use some of her many catchphrases, them being “You’re in big trouble, mister!” (said by Kimmy), “No way, Jose!” (said by D.J.), “Aw, Nuts!” (said by Stephanie), and “You got it, dude!” (said by all three of them).
